Accommodations:
The local organizing committee for the 2006 Eastern Synchronized Team Skating Sectional Championships (“Championships”) has hired THS (Tournament Housing Service) as the official housing bureau for the Championships to coordinate lodging for all teams. Your cooperation is necessary to make this process a successful one. THS has reserved blocks of rooms at many Duluth area hotels. The hotels were selected for their quality, convenience and amenities as well as their ability to efficiently handle groups.
Reservations may be made at the official hotels for the Championships beginning February 28, 2005, and must be made through THS in order to receive the special Championships rate. Reservations may be made online, by fax, or by calling a toll free number. THS will ask you to choose four hotels, and will make every effort to place your team in one of these hotels. Reservations will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Please note that for the 2006 Eastern Synchronized Team Skating Sectional Championships, hotel accommodations and unofficial practice ice will be available as a package. All teams that choose to make hotel reservations through THS for the Championships will receive unofficial practice ice on a first come, first serve basis at a discounted rate. Those teams who do not book hotel rooms through THS will be able to book unofficial practice ice, but only after all other teams have chosen and this ice will be sold at a premium rate. This policy does not affect official practice ice.
